• Cascable 2.0 adds support for over 40 cameras from Nikon, Olympus, and Sony on top of the Canon models already supported. Everyone gets the same UI and rich feature set, with a couple of minor exceptions. For more information, see the new Camera Compatibility page on the Cascable website.
——— Free to Get Started ———
• Starting with version 2.0, you can download and get started with Cascable for free! The free version of Cascable allows you to take photos and download JPEG files, but to get the most from the app you can unlock features with In-App Purchases. For more information, see the Pro Features page on the Cascable website, or in the app’s store.
• If you purchased Cascable 1.0, you’ll receive all of the paid for features in Cascable 2.0 for free, including the brand new ones like Night Mode. Thank you for being an early adopter!

• Those who work in low light conditions will love our new Night Mode - an app-wide dark theme that makes Cascable a joy to use in the dark.
——— Improvements to Remote Control ———
• You can now change a variety of camera settings, such as White Balance, AF mode, etc from the new “Camera Settings” button in the toolbar. Which settings you can change depends on your camera.
• Shot Review shows you a quick, high-resolution preview of the photo you just took right on your iOS device.
• Improved histogram that’s more accurate and shows RGB channels.
• Focus peaking can be applied at all times, not just when your camera is in manual focus.

• Much better support for RAW+JPEG photos — no more duplicates!
• Remote photo preview - you can get a high-resolution preview of any image on your camera before copying it to your device.
• The photo viewer now zooms in to 1:1 scale, and shows a histogram and photo metadata.
• Photos copied to your iOS device are now grouped by day, newest first.
• Photos copied to your iOS device can be filtered by date, file type and text search such as camera model, lens name, etc.
